Begin by blotting stain with a clean, absorbent cloth or paper towel. This will help remove excess moisture and make it easier to remove the stain. Use a gentle pressing motion as you blot, being careful not to rub the stain further into the fabric.
Once you’ve blotted the excess moisture away, apply a spot cleaner directly to stain. Be sure to read the instructions on the spot cleaner to make sure it is safe for the fabric of your jacket. Allow the spot cleaner to sit on the stain for a few minutes, then blot the area again.
If the stain persists after first application of spot cleaner, repeat steps 1-2. You may need to repeat this process several times before the stain is removed.
Once you’ve removed the stain, wash the jacket according to the fabric care instructions. Make sure the jacket is completely clean before drying it.
