  • Dishwashing detergent
  • White vinegar
  • Hydrogen peroxide
  • Soft brush

Removing the Mustard Stain

  1. First, use a dry cloth or paper towel to try to remove as much of the mustard as you can. Do not scrub, as this may cause the stain to spread.
  2. Apply a few drops of dishwashing detergent to affected area. Gently scrub the affected area with a soft brush. If mustard does not come up, leave the detergent on for a few minutes.
  3. If the detergent does not work, mix equal parts white vinegar and hydrogen peroxide and apply it to the affected area. Let it sit for about 15 minutes before rinsing it off with water.
  4. If stain persists, repeat steps 2 and 3 until the stain is gone.
