Collect Your Cleaning Supplies

First, gather a few supplies that will help in your cleaning process: an old, clean rag or sponge, a nylon scrubbing pad, baking soda, and a cleaning solution.

Prepare Your Cleaning Solution

If you don't have a dedicated cleaner, mix up a solution of two parts white vinegar and one part water. This combination acts as an effective degreaser, cutting through any mustard stuck to your grills. Pour the mixture into a container and dip your rag or sponge into it.

Scrub and Rinse

Use the wet rag to scrub at the mustard stains, focusing on the most stubborn spots. If the stain persists, apply a bit of baking soda to the affected area, then use the scrubber to rub it in a circular motion. Once you’ve removed as much of stain as possible, wipe surface down with a clean, damp cloth to remove any remaining residue.

Finish off with a Shine

Alternatively, you can finish off the job by soaking a clean cloth in water and wiping down grills until they shine. The vinegar solution and baking soda give your grills a clean that lasts, so you can skip this step if you want.

Keep Your Grill Looking Great

With these simple steps, you should be able to keep your grills looking great for years to come. Make sure to clean them after every use to prevent future buildup, and store them in a cool, dry place when not in use.
