Step by Step Guide to Clean Mustard Stains from Your Goggles
- Fill a bowl with lukewarm water and a few drops of dish soap. Mix the two together to make a sudsy solution.
- Once your mixture is ready, submerge your goggles in the suds and let them soak for 15 minutes.
- After the goggles have finished soaking, use a soft cloth or sponge to gently scrub the stained areas. Don’t scrub too harshly as this could damage the lenses.
- Once you’ve scrubbed stained areas, rinse your goggles off thoroughly with fresh, clean water.
- Allow your goggles to air dry before putting them back on. Be sure to store them in a safe, dry place when not in use.
Additional Tips
- If the mustard stains still won’t come off after following these steps, try soaking your goggles in a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water for 10 minutes.
- If the stain is still persisting, try using an old toothbrush to gently scrub the area before rinsing and air drying.
- Always be sure to check the care label on your goggles before cleaning them. Different types of goggles may require special cleaning techniques.
