What You'll Need
- Dish soap
- White Vinegar
- Lemon Juice
- Baking Soda
- Salt
- A Toothbrush
- A Towel
Instructions
- Mix together one teaspoon of dish soap and one teaspoon of white vinegar.
- Gently rub the mixture onto the stained area using the toothbrush.
- Cup the lemon juice onto the stain and let it sit for 10 minutes.
- Sprinkle baking soda on the wet area.
- Scrub the mixture into the fabric until the stain begins to break up.
- Rinse off the area with cold water and blot with a clean towel.
- Lay the fabric out to dry.
Preparing the Stain for Washing
- Mix together one teaspoon of salt and two teaspoons of dish soap.
- Rub the mixture over stain and wait 10 minutes.
- Rinse the fabric in warm water and let it soak for 15 minutes.
- Wash the fabric in the machine as normal.
