The first step is to treat the stained area of your coveralls with some dish soap and warm water. Rub the stain gently with a sponge or cloth to remove as much of the mustard as possible.
Once you've removed as much of the mustard as you can with soap and water, the next step is to apply a solution of white vinegar and water to the affected area. Mix equal parts vinegar and water and use a cloth or sponge to apply the mixture to the stain. Allow it to sit for a few minutes before continuing.
Create a paste using baking soda and water by mixing a few tablespoons of each together. Use the paste to coat stained area of the coveralls and let it sit for 10-15 minutes before wiping it away with a damp cloth.
Once you’ve treated the stain with soap, vinegar and baking soda, the final step is to wash and dry the coveralls as you normally would. This will ensure that all of the cleaning solutions are removed and the stain is gone.
Mustard stains can be a real nuisance, but with a few simple steps you can get them out of your coveralls in no time. Just follow steps above and your coveralls will be good as new!
