Step 1: Act Quickly

The sooner you take action, the better! If possible, try to treat mustard stain as soon as possible. The longer stain sits, the harder it will be to get out. If the stain has already set into the fabric, don't worry – there's still hope!

Step 2: Pre-treat the Stain

Before you begin to work on the stain, be sure to pre-treat it with a stain remover product. Let the product sit for about 10 minutes and then rinse with cold water. This will help to loosen stain before you start to work at it.

Step 3: Soak Stain

Next, fill a bucket with lukewarm water and add in a mild detergent. Place stained area into the bucket and let it soak for 30 minutes. This will help to further loosen up the stain and make it easier to remove.

Step 4: Wash the Fabric

Once the fabric has soaked for 30 minutes, take it out and place it in washing machine. Wash the fabric in lukewarm water, using a mild detergent. Be sure to use a gentle washing cycle so that you don't damage the delicate cotton voile fabric.

Step 5: Check for Remaining Stains

After the fabric has been washed, check to see if there are any remaining stains. If there are, repeat steps 2-4 until the stain is completely gone. Once the stain is removed, be sure to hang the fabric to dry.
