When mustard stains begin to spread across a favorite canvas item, it can be incredibly disheartening. Despite the upsetting nature of the situation, all is not lost. With careful attention, some simple tools and a few household ingredients, you can have your cotton canvas looking good as new in no time.
What You'll Need:
- Laundry Detergent
- Liquid Chlorine Bleach
- A Small Bowl
- Soft Bristle Brush
- A Towel
Instructions:
- Mix a solution of laundry detergent and a cup of lukewarm water in a small bowl.
- Dip a soft bristled brush into the solution, and scrub mustard stain gently.
- Lay the fabric flat on a dry towel, and rinse both sides with clean water.
- If the stain remains, mix 1 tablespoon of liquid chlorine bleach with 1 quart of water and blot the stain with the mixture
- Rinse the fabric on both sides, and then allow it to air dry.
