Immediately after stain has set, use a clean white cloth to gently blot the stain. This will help to absorb any of the remaining liquid from the stain.
Mix baking soda with a small amount of water until it forms a paste. Spread the paste over the stain and let it sit for 30 minutes or so. This will help to break down stain.
Use a soft cloth and warm water to rinse away the paste.
To further pretreat the stain, create a mixture of one part liquid dish soap and two parts hydrogen peroxide. Apply the mixture to the stain with a soft cloth and let sit for up to 30 minutes. This will help to break down the stain and make it easier to remove when washing.
Once the pretreatment has been applied, it's time to wash. Wash charmeuse fabric according to the care instructions. Once the fabric is washed, hang it out to dry.
