Gather Your Supplies

To successfully remove mustard stains from Armani apparel, you’ll need a few items:

  • Rubbing alcohol or white vinegar
  • Towels
  • Dry-cleaning solvent or dish soap
  • Soft toothbrush
  • Laundry detergent

Step One: Blotting

If mustard stain is still wet, use a clean, dry towel to blot up as muchof the staining liquid as possible. Don't scrub the affected area, as this could cause the stain to set in further.

Step Two: Apply Liquid Solutions

Wet a clean cloth or towel with either rubbing alcohol or vinegar, and use it to dab the stained area. This should help loosen the mustard and work it out of the fabric.

Step Three: Use Solvent or Soap

If the stain is still present after step two, use a small amount of dry-cleaning solvent or a drop of dish soap and gently rub with a soft toothbrush. You’ll want to avoid scrubbing too hard, as this could damage the fabric of your apparel.

Step Four: Wash and Rinse

Once you’ve applied the solvent or soap, you can wash the item according to care instructions on label. Use a laundry detergent and warm water and rinse the item until all traces of mustard have been removed. If the stain persists, repeat steps one through four until the yellowish mark has disappeared.

Step Five: Dry and Wear

After washing, hang up your Armani apparel and allow it to air dry. Once fully dry, you can wear it again knowing that the mustard stain is gone!
