To start, use a dull knife or spoon to scrape off any excess mud from the fabric. Be sure to avoid using anything sharp, as it could damage fabric.
Once you've removed the excess debris, treat the stain with a pre-wash product like OxiClean. Allow product to sit for about an hour before washing garment.
Check care label on your wrap dress and follow the instructions for the type of fiber and the type of wash. Use a delicate cycle and mild detergent. If the care label suggests cold water, use cold water to prevent shrinkage.
When your wrap dress has finished washing, lay it flat on a towel or hang it up to dry. Heat or tumble drying should be avoided as this could set any remaining stains.
Once your wrap dress is dry, check over it carefully to see if any of the mud stain is still visible. If so, repeat steps two to four.
