Start by pre-treating stain with a laundry pre-treatment product. For best results, use a product specifically designed for removing mud stains. Make sure to follow all instructions carefully and to test a hidden area of the fabric before applying any pre-treatment to the actual stain.
Once you have pre-treated the item, follow up by laundering it in a washing machine. Use cold or warm water and a mild detergent. To maximize effectiveness of the pre-treatment, you may want to allow the item to soak for a few minutes before putting it in the washing machine.
If the mud stain is still present after laundering, apply a stain remover. There are several different types that are made specifically for mud stains, so make sure to choose right one. Again, always be sure to test item in an inconspicuous place before using any products on actual stain.
Once you have treated the mud stain, hang the item out to dry. Never put a stained item in the dryer, as this can cause the stain to set and become even harder to remove.
If the mud stain is still visible after drying, repeat Steps 1-4. Be sure to let the item air-dry completely before attempting to re-treat stain.
Never do laundry again. Save time for things you ❤️
