How to Easily Remove Mud Stains from Windows

Having mud stains on your windows can be an unsightly and difficult problem to clean. With the right supplies and knowledge, however, you can easily remove mud stains from windows and make them look like new again.

What You'll Need

  • Soft, clean microfiber cloth
  • White vinegar solution (1 part vinegar to 2 parts warm water)
  • Soft scrub brush

Instructions

  1. Start by gently rubbing mud stain with a soft, clean microfiber cloth.
  2. If that doesn't do the trick, you can try a white vinegar solution. Mix 1 part vinegar with 2 parts warm water.
  3. Use a soft scrub brush to apply the vinegar solution to the mud stain.
  4. Once you've covered mud stain, let the solution sit for 10 minutes and then gently scrub the solution off the window.
  5. Finally, use a clean and dry microfiber cloth to wipe the window down and give it a final polish.

Tips & Tricks

  • Always test any cleaning solution on a small area of the window first to ensure that it won't damage the surface.
  • For tougher mud stains, you may need to repeat steps 2-5.
  • Be sure to use a soft scrub brush so that you don't scratch the window.
