What You'll Need

  • Mild liquid detergent or soap
  • White vinegar
  • Soft-bristle brush
  • Bowl of warm water

Instructions

  1. Soak the fabric with the mud stain in a bowl of warm water and a few drops of mild liquid detergent or soap. Let it sit for 15 minutes, then rinse with cold water.
  2. Mix 2 tablespoons white vinegar with 2 cups of warm water in a separate bowl. Dip in a soft cloth into the solution and dab the mud stain gently.
  3. Using a soft bristled brush, scrub the mud stain softly.
  4. Rinse the area thoroughly with cold water.
  5. Dry the fabric using a clean cloth, flat on top of a towel.
