Things You'll Need

  • Cold or lukewarm water
  • Mild detergent or soap
  • Brush (or toothbrush)
  • White vinegar or lemon juice
  • Baking soda

Steps:

  1. As soon as possible, soak the garment in cold or lukewarm water for about 10 minutes as mud stain will be removed easily in this way.
  2. Add a mild detergent or soap to the water and gently rub the stained area.
  3. Rinse the stained area with cold water.
  4. In case the stain is still present, mix some white vinegar/lemon juice with a spoonful of baking soda and apply the solution onto the stained area. Leave it for 20 minutes and then rinse it.
  5. If the stain persists, use a soft brush (or even a toothbrush) to gently scrub the stained area. Do it for a couple of times.
  6. Once satisfied, rinse the area thoroughly with cold water.
