Instructions for Cleaning Mud Stains from Your Tartan
- Before treating the stain, shake out your tartan fabric to loosen any remaining dirt and debris. If possible, vacuum the surface of the fabric to remove any dirt particles.
- Create a cleaning solution using two tablespoons of mild laundry detergent and one quart of lukewarm water. Use this mixture to sponge the tartan fabric in a circular motion.
