How to Easily Remove Mud Stains From Sweatpants

Ingredients Needed

  • 1 teaspoon of laundry detergent
  • 1/2 cup of white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 1 gallon of warm water

Instructions

  1. Mix one teaspoon of laundry detergent, 1/2 cup of white vinegar and one tablespoon of salt in one gallon of warm water.
  2. Submerge the sweatpants in the mixture for about 30 minutes.
  3. Remove the sweatpants from mixture.
  4. Rinse sweatpants with cold water until the suds disappear.
  5. Wash the sweatpants in the washing machine using the hottest water setting recommended for the fabric.
  6. Dry the sweatpants, and you're done!

Tips

  • Soak the sweatpants for longer if stains are still present after the 30 minutes.
  • For tougher stains, rub the area with a stain remover before submerging pants in mixture.
  • If the stain is still there after you wash and dry the sweatpants, repeat the process until the stain is gone.
