Method 1: Soap and Water

The most basic method of cleaning a sleep shirt is to use soap and water. Gently apply a solution of warm water and liquid detergent (such as dish-washing soap) to the affected area using a soft cloth or sponge. Let it sit for 10 minutes, then rinse with cold water. If necessary, repeat the process until the stain is gone.

Method 2: White Vinegar and Baking Soda

Create a paste of white vinegar and baking soda and apply to the stained area. Leave on for 30 minutes, then rinse with cold water. For tougher stains you may need to repeat process.

Method 3: Detergent and Bleach

If other methods do not work, try a combination of detergent and bleach. Make a solution of one-part detergent and one-part bleach and gently apply to stained area. Rinse with cold water. Be extra careful when using this method as it can damage fabric.

Method 4: Visit a Professional Cleaner

If all else fails, take your sleep shirt to a professional cleaner who has experience in dealing with difficult stains. They will have access to professional products which may be able to remove difficult stains. Be sure to ask about their methods and any risks that may be involved.
