Step 1: Prepare Robe

Grab your robe and turn it inside out before washing. This will prevent the mud stains from spreading to other parts of the robe.

Step 2: Pre-treat the Stain

Mix a solution of half water and half white vinegar in a spray bottle. Spray the vinegar solution directly onto the mud stain and let it soak for about 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, rinse the solution off with cold water and dry the robe with a towel.

Step 3: Wash the Robe

Put your robe in the washing machine with a gentle detergent, set the cycle to “delicate” and the temperature to “cold.” Do not add bleach as it may cause damage to the fabric.

Step 4: Dry Robe

Once washing cycle is complete, transfer your robe to the dryer. Set the cycle to “air dry” to protect the fabric from any heat damage. Alternatively, you can also hang your robe outside in the sun to air dry.
