How to Clean Mud Stains from Nylon

  1. Start by dampening the stained area with water.
  2. Mix dish soap with warm water and use a soft bristled brush (like a toothbrush) to apply it to the stained area.
  3. For tougher mud stains, combine two parts baking soda and one part white vinegar to make a paste. Spread it onto the treated area and leave it for 10 minutes. Then rinse thoroughly.
  4. If the stain still remains, mix equal parts of hydrogen peroxide and dish soap, then rub onto the stained area using a soft bristled brush. Let it sit for around an hour then rinse.
  5. Allow the area to air dry naturally.
