- A bucket of warm water
- A mild liquid detergent specifically meant for cleaning leather

- A clean, white cloth
Step 1: Clean Off the Mud
Before attempting to remove the mud stain itself, it is important to remove as much of the mud as possible from the mules. To do this, take the soft-bristled brush and gently brush off any dirt particles or debris. Be careful not to press down too hard and scratch the leather.
Step 2: Prep the Stain
Once you’ve removed as much of the mud as possible, mix a small amount of mild detergent in the bucket of warm water and lightly dip the cloth into the solution. Make sure not to soak it too much. Then, gently dab cloth onto the mud stain.
