If you have any clothing or items made of mohair, you know that it can be delicate and needs special attention when washing. And if you happen to stain your mohair clothing or fabric with mud, it’s even more difficult and frustrating to try and get the stain out. Don’t worry though – we have a simple cleaning hack to get rid of those stubborn mud stains on your mohair.

Steps to Clean Mud-Stained Mohair Clothes

  1. Begin by brushing off as much of the dried mud as you can, as well as vacuuming it if possible.
  2. Mix a solution of 1 part mild detergent with 8 parts warm water.
  3. Soak a clean sponge or cloth in the solution and gently dab the stained area of the mohair item.
  4. Rinse the mohair item with clean, cold water and hang it up to dry.
  5. After the mohair item is completely dry, brush it with a soft bristled brush to restore its original texture.

By following these easy steps, you’ll be able to get rid of those tough mud stains on your mohair clothes and fabrics with ease. The key is to be gentle and patient while you clean, so as not to damage the delicate mohair fibers.
