Don't panic! It may seem like an impossible task but there are a few simple steps you can take which should have your Marcella looking sparkling clean again in no time.

What You'll Need:

  • Mild detergent
  • White vinegar
  • Soft brush
  • Clean, damp cloth

Step 1: Blot the Stain

Using a soft, dry cloth, gently blot out the excess mud from the fabric. Don't rub or scrub as this will only spread the mud further into the fabric.

Step 2: Make a Cleaning Solution

Mix together one teaspoon of mild detergent with one tablespoon of white vinegar and two cups of warm water.

Step 3: Apply the Solution

Dip a soft-bristled brush into the solution and lightly brush the stained area in a circular motion. Take care not to scrub too vigorously or the fabric might discolor or lose its texture.

Step 4: Rinse the Stain

Once all the mud has been removed, rinse the area with a clean, damp cloth. Pat it dry with a soft towel and repeat the process if necessary.

Step 5: Allow to Air Dry

Finally, leave fabric to air dry completely before using it again.

Conclusion

With these simple steps, it's easy to get mud stains out of Marcella fabric and have it looking good as new. Be sure to follow the instructions carefully to ensure that the fabric doesn't become damaged in the process.
