If you often go for a run in muddy fields or have recently been camping, chances are that your ear plugs have mud stains on them. This can make them hard to use, but fear not--there are simple ways to get rid of the dirt and make your ear plugs look as good as new.

What You'll Need

  • Mild soap
  • Loth or soft brush
  • Small bowl
  • Toothbrush
  • Clean cloth

Instructions:

  1. Fill small bowl with warm water and add a few drops of mild soap.
  2. Dip cloth or loth into bowl and lightly rub the ear plugs.
  3. If necessary, use a soft brush to scrub off stubborn dirt.
  4. Rinse off the soap with clean water and dry the ear plugs with a clean cloth.
  5. If there are still some stains, use a toothbrush dipped into soapy water and lightly scrub the ear plugs.
  6. Rinse and dry them again before use.

Now your ear plugs should be free from mud stains! Remember to always check your ear plugs before using and to store them in a safe, dry place when not in use.
