Rinse Away Mud Stains from Duchess Lace with Ease

What You Need

  • Duchess lace fabric
  • Dish soap
  • A bucket of warm water
  • Old toothbrush (or similar brush with soft bristles)
  • Hair dryer
  • Cotton cloth

Instructions

  1. Start by scraping away any excess mud from fabric with the edge of a spoon or butter knife.
  2. Mix a teaspoon of dish soap into a clean bucket filled with warm water.
  3. Dip affected area of duchess lace in the soapy water and use the soft bristle brush to agitate the stain.
  4. Gently squeeze the excess water out of the fabric. Do not wring the fabric or twist it.
  5. Use a hair dryer on lowest heat setting to blow dry the stained area until fabric is completely dried.
  6. After the fabric has dried, use a damp cotton cloth to apply gentle pressure to help the stain fade.
