Mud stains can be a real bummer when it comes to Converse shoes. But good news is that they’re actually fairly easy to remove with right products and technique. Here’s a foolproof method for getting your shoes back into prime condition:

  • Start by removing any excess mud and debris from your shoes using a damp cloth and a brush.
  • Mix a few drops of dish soap into one cup of warm water, and stir together.
  • Using a clean cloth, apply the soapy solution to the stained areas and lightly scrub.
  • Rinse off the soapy mixture using clean, warm water and a cloth.
  • Allow your shoes to air dry in a well-ventilated area.
  • Once dry, use a suede brush to restore nap of the fabric.

You may need to repeat this process for particularly tough stains. If all else fails, try using a specialized cleaning product like a suede cleaner to get rid of any stubborn marks.

And voila! Your shoes will look as good as new in no time. Just remember to regularly clean and care for your Converse shoes in order to maintain their appearance.
