  • Cold water
  • Liquid detergent
  • Cleaning cloth
  • Soft-bristled brush
  • Vacuum cleaner (optional)

Steps for Removing Mud Stains

  1. As soon as possible after mud stain occurs, rinse the stained area with cold water.
  2. Mix liquid detergent with water and use the solution to rub the stain gently with a cloth or soft-bristled brush.
  3. Once mud stain has been removed, rinse the affected area with cold water until all of detergent is gone.
  4. Allow the Battenberg lace to air dry in a well ventilated area.
  5. If there is still dirt left on the lace, vacuum area to remove any remaining particles.
