No matter. Mud stains on Angora fabric are no match for cleaning power of a few simple steps. Follow these steps, and you'll be able to banish the mud stain and restore your Angora fabric to its former glory.

Instructions

  1. First, mix one tablespoon of dish liquid with two cups of cold water.
  2. Then, dip a clean white cloth into solution and blot the stain gently from the outside edge to the inside.
  3. Next, spray a pre-wash spot cleaner over the stain and let the product sit for five minutes.
  4. After five minutes, use a damp cloth to blot the pre-wash spot cleaner away.
  5. Finally, allow the fabric to air dry or place in dryer on the low setting. Do not dry on high heat.

Other Tips

  • Do not rub the fabric vigorously while attempting to blot the stain. Rubbing can cause the fabric to pill or fray.
  • If the stain does not disappear after first attempt at removal, repeat the steps until the stain is fully gone.
  • If stain still remains after a few attempts, you may need to take the fabric to a professional cleaner.
