Materials Needed:

  • Towel
  • Sponge
  • Laundry Detergent
  • Toothbrush

Getting Started:

  1. Lay a towel out on a flat surface and put the wallet onto the towel. This will help protect the surface underneath from any water damage.
  2. Dampen the sponge with warm water. Squeeze out the excess water before moving on to the next step.
  3. Put a few drops of laundry detergent onto the sponge and start scrubbing the mouthwash stain. This should help break down the stain and make it easier to remove.
  4. Once you’ve scrubbed the stain, rinse the area with clean water. Make sure all of the detergent is removed before moving on.
  5. Using a toothbrush, gently scrub the area to get any remaining residue out of the wallet. Be careful not to rub too hard as this could damage the leather.

Finishing Up:

Dry the wallet off with the towel. The stain should be gone, leaving your wallet looking like new!
