Stains that just won't go away can make you feel helpless – especially when they are on your favourite Under Armour clothes. Unfortunately, mouthwash is one of the major causes of stubborn stains in fabric. The artificial colors and dyes in its components can sometimes be tricky to get rid of.

Removing Mouthwash Stains from Under Armour

Fear not – with the right techniques, you can remove mouthwash stains from Under Armour without much effort. Here's what to do:

  • Make sure to act quickly. The longer the mouthwash stays on fabric, the harder it will be to get rid of residual color.
  • First, run cold water through the stained area from the back side of the fabric to push the stain out. Be warned – the color may bleed slightly.
  • Create a mixture of 1 tablespoon of white vinegar or lemon juice combined with 2 cups of cool water.
  • Soak the stained area in mixture for 15-20 minutes.
  • Wash the item as usual – either by hand or with a machine – using the hottest water temperature allowed for the fabric.
  • Check to see if any stain remains. If so, repeat steps 2-5 until the garment is clean.

Voilà! Your favourite Under Armour garments will be free of unsightly mouthwash stains in no time.
