The first step in removing mouthwash stains from traditional clothing is to check the garment’s care label to ensure that it can be safely cleaned. Certain fabrics may require special attention when treating any type of stain, so make sure you’re following the manufacturer’s instructions.

Next, pre-treat the stain by applying a small amount of a mild detergent directly to the stained area. Let the detergent sit for about 15 minutes before moving on to the next step.

Once pre-treatment is complete, wash the garment in lukewarm water using a gentle cycle. If the stain persists after the first wash, you may need to repeat these steps. Alternatively, you can try soaking the garment in a solution of 1 teaspoon of liquid dishwashing detergent and ½ cup of white vinegar mixed with warm water before washing it again.

Finally, inspect the garment to make sure the stain has been completely removed. If necessary, repeat the cleaning process again following the steps outlined above.

With these easy steps, you should be able to quickly and easily remove mouthwash stains from traditional clothing.
