What You'll Need:
- Mouthwash
- Soft cloths or sponges
- Stain remover or laundry detergent (optional)
- Bucket or tub for soaking
Instructions:
- Gently blot the area of the stain with a soft cloth or sponge that has been moistened with a few drops of the mouthwash. This will help lift the stain from the fabric of the toy.
- If necessary, apply a small amount of laundry detergent or stain remover directly to the stained area and let it sit for a few minutes.
- Fill a bucket or tub with a mixture of one part mouthwash and two parts warm water.
- Submerge the stained area of the toy in the mixture of mouthwash and water.
- Allow the toy to soak for 30 minutes and then remove it from the solution.
- Rinse the toy and allow it to air dry.
Tips and Warnings:
- Always test the mouthwash and/or stain remover on a small, hidden area of the toy first to make sure it won't damage the fabric.
- Be sure not to scrub too hard or you may damage the fabric on delicate toys.
- Be sure to rinse the toy thoroughly after soaking to remove any excess mouthwash or detergent.
