When it comes to cleaning mouthwash stains from sweatpants, the process isn't complicated. You just need to know the correct steps to take and the items to use.

Items Needed

  • Dish soap or laundry detergent
  • White vinegar
  • Borax
  • Laundry pre-treatment spray or stain remover
  • Cold water

Instructions

  1. Spray the affected area with a laundry pre-treatment spray or stain remover.
  2. Let the product sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Mix ½ cup of cold water, ½ cup of white vinegar, and 1 teaspoon of dish soap or laundry detergent in a bowl.
  4. Dab stain with the soapy solution.
  5. Rub a small amount of Borax onto the stain.
  6. Rinse with cold water.
  7. Allow to air dry.

Following these steps should remove the mouthwash stain from your sweatpants! For heavily stained areas, repeat steps 3-7 until the stain is completely gone.
