- To start, mix 1 tablespoon of baking soda and ½ cup of hydrogen peroxide in a bowl or cup to create a paste.
- Place the stocking on a towel and apply paste directly onto the mouthwash stain(s). If stain is located near your toes, be sure to turn stocking inside-out first.
- Rub the paste in with a toothbrush or soft brush.
- Leave the paste to sit on the stain for 30 minutes.
- Rinse the paste off with cool water and check to see if the stain has been removed.
- If not, repeat steps 2-4 and let the paste sit for a longer period of time.
- When done, either hang the stockings on a clothesline to dry or slide them back on your feet and go about your day.
