What You Will Need
- Cold Water
- Mild Detergent
- Ammonia
- White Vinegar
- Soft Cloth
Steps to Follow
- Start by blotting the stain with cold water as quickly as possible.
- Mix 1 tablespoon of mild detergent with 2 cups of cold water. The mixture should be liquid and soap-like.
- Dip a soft cloth into the mixture and gently scrub the affected area of fabric.
- Rinse off the detergent with cold water and then dry the spot with a soft cloth.
- If the stain persists, add 1 teaspoon of ammonia to 1 cup of cold water. Dip a soft cloth into this mixture and dab at the affected area. Do not scrub.
- Allow the ammonia mixture to sit for a few minutes before rinsing it off with cold water.
- If the stain still remains, mix 4 tablespoons of white vinegar with 1 cup of cold water. Dip a soft cloth into this mixture and dab at spot.
- Allow the vinegar solution to sit for a few minutes before rinsing the fabric with cold water.
- After removing stain, let the fabric air-dry.
