Using a white cloth, dab the stained area of the silk chiffon fabric with cold water. Do not rub, as this will only spread stain and can potentially cause further damage.
Pour a small amount of mouthwash directly onto the stain and allow it to sit for 15 minutes. Then, blot the area lightly with the other end of the cloth.
Once the mouthwash has had some time to set in, use a moisturizing soap and lightly massage it into the stain. Once you’ve given the fabric a thorough scrubbing with the soap, rinse the area with cold water.
When stain has been successfully removed, it’s time to move on to the washing machine. Place the clothing in the washer and select a cool cycle. Once the item is washed and dried, you should be left with a stain-free silk chiffon garment.
