Eliminate Those Nasty Mouthwash Stains From Your Shirt!
Did you accidently spill mouthwash on a precious shirt of yours while brushing your teeth? Don't worry - there are several techniques to get rid of those pesky marks quickly and easily.

Removing Fresh Stains
- Start by blotting up any excess liquid with a paper towel before the stain has time to set in.
- Mix together some mild dishwashing liquid and warm water.
- Soak your shirt in the solution for about 30 minutes.
- Select a gentle cycle on your washing machine, plug it in with a suitable detergent, and add your shirt.
- Allow shirt to complete its normal cycle, and then inspect the area of the stain to make sure it's gone.
Removing Set In Stains
- Start by soaking affected area in lukewarm water for 10-15 minutes.
- Apply a small amount of laundry detergent directly onto the stain, and scrub gently.
- Rinse the area thoroughly with lukewarm water.
- Mix together a solution consisting of 1/3 white vinegar, 2/3 water, and pour it over the stain.
- Allow area to sit for about 15 minutes.
- Wash the shirt in the washing machine, using a regular cycle and detergent.
- Inspect the area of the stain and repeat the process if necessary.
Using Other Methods
- Try applying a mixture of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide to the affected area.
- Another popular method involves the use of rubbing alcohol.
- Mix 1 part rubbing alcohol and 1 part water, and apply it to the stain.
- Gently massage the solution into the fabric fibers.
- Rinse the area once finished and add your shirt to the washing machine.
- If the stain is still there, repeat the process until you achieve your desired results.
