Mouthwash is a great tool for cleaning out stains from clothes. As long as you make sure the mouthwash you use is alcohol free, it will remove all kinds of stubborn stains from your scrubs. The best way to clean your scrubs of stains with mouthwash is to soak them for about an hour in a mixture of a few tablespoons of mouthwash and a few liters of water. Then, leave the garment inside the mixture to soak and stir it every 15 minutes or so. After an hour, rinse the scrub off with cold water and hang it to dry.
If the stain is particularly hard to get out, mix equal parts vinegar and mouthwash together. This combination will work wonders on almost any type of stain. Soak the garment in mixture and leave it for at least an hour. Afterwards, rinse off with cold water, hang the scrub to dry, and voila! The stain should be gone!
These tips are very easy to follow and can be used for other types of clothing as well. Just make sure that the garments you are going to use are washable and colorfast. This way, you can guarantee that no discoloration or fading will occur.
Additionally, do not leave the garment in the mixture for longer than an hour, or else the fabric might start to become discolored. Furthermore, don’t forget to always inspect fabric before attempting to remove stains with any kind of liquid.
Now you know how easy it is to take stains out of your scrubs with mouthwash. No more worrying about embarrassing stains on your scrubs!
