berry If you're dealing with a mouthwash stain on your robe, don't fret. With the help of some simple household items, you can easily restore your robe to its former glory. All you need is the right products and a bit of elbow grease. The first step in cleaning a mouthwash stain from your robe is to pre-treat it with a stain remover. Spray the stain liberally with a product such as Shout, Woolite, or Oxyclean, and wait a few minutes before gently scrubbing the area with a toothbrush. This will help break up stain and make it easier to remove. After pre-treating the stain, you'll need to prepare a mixture of one part white vinegar and two parts warm water. Dip a clean cloth into the mixture and wring out any excess liquid. Blot the stained area of the robe with the damp cloth, continuing until the stain has been removed. An alternative method is to sponge stained area with a solution of one teaspoon of detergent and one cup of warm water. Rub the area gently with a circular motion to lift the stain. Once you've removed as much of it as you can, rinse with cold water and launder the robe according to the care instructions. Once the stain has been treated and washed away, you can make sure to prevent any future mouthwash spills. When not in use, store your mouthwash bottles upright and away from fabrics. If you prefer to leave them out, try to keep them away from clothes and any other items that may be susceptible to staining.
