What You Will Need

  • Dish soap
  • Baking soda
  • Vinegar
  • Toothbrush or scrubbing brush

Step 1: Pre-soak the Pan with Soap and Water

If your pan has just been used, fill it with hot water and a few drops of dish soap. Let it soak for a few minutes to loosen the stain. This will make it easier to scrub away.

Step 2: Create a Paste with Baking Soda and Vinegar

Mix equal parts baking soda and vinegar to create a paste. Apply it directly to the mouthwash stain on the pan and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. This will break down the stain and help it come off easier.

Step 3: Scrub the Stain Away with a Toothbrush

Take a toothbrush or scrubbing brush and gently scrub the paste into the stain. Move in circular motions and apply pressure where needed. Rinse the pan with warm water when finished. If some of the stain remains, repeat steps 1-3.

Step 4: Dry and Enjoy

Once you are finished scrubbing, rinse pan with hot water and dry with a kitchen towel. Your pan should now be free of any stains from mouthwash.
