Step 1: Blot Up Excess Mouthwash

First, use a clean towel to blot up any excess mouthwash that has spilled onto your shoes - making sure not to rub it in further.

Step 2: Create a Cleaning Mixture

After blotting away the mouthwash, create a cleaning mixture to remove the remaining stain. In a bowl, mix 1 part white vinegar and 2 parts warm water. Gently stir the mixture until it is combined.

Step 3: Dip a Clean Cloth into the Mixture

Once the mixture is created, dip a clean cloth or sponge into bowl and gently apply on the stained area of your Oxfords. Be sure to not rub too hard and to press lightly on the stain. Let the mixture sit and absorb the mouthwash for several minutes.

Step 4: Rinse Stain with Water

Once the mouthwash stain has been removed, rinse the area with cool water and pat dry with a clean towel. And voilà! The stains should be gone.
