The first step is to soak the area with club soda. This will help to loosen the stains and make them easier to remove. Leave material in the soda for at least 15 minutes. Then, rinse off with cold water and check if stain has been removed.
If stain is still visible, the next step is to pre-treat the area with a detergent. Squirt a few drops of detergent onto the spot and gently rub it in. Allow it to sit for a few minutes before rinsing off with cold water.
If the stain is still present, you can try using a stain remover. There are many commercial stain removers available on market that can help you get rid of those pesky mouthwash stains. Follow the instructions on the package and allow it to sit for the recommended amount of time. Be sure to rinse off the area with cold water afterwards.
Once you have pre-treated and treated the area, you can then wash overalls normally. Add the rest of your laundry and use the recommended amount of detergent. Don't forget to check the pockets to make sure all mouthwash stains are gone!
