What You Need

  • Baking soda
  • White vinegar
  • Laundry detergent
  • A toothbrush

Steps for Cleaning the Mouthwash Stain

  1. Mix 1 tablespoon of baking soda in 1 cup of warm water.
  2. Soak your one-piece swimsuit in the solution for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Scrub the area with a toothbrush to remove the stain.
  4. Rinse the swimsuit with cold water.
  5. Mix ½ cup of white vinegar with ½ cup of warm water.
  6. Soak swimsuit in the mixture for another 30 minutes.
  7. Wash the swimsuit with laundry detergent.
  8. Rinse the suit with cold water.
  9. Allow the swimsuit to air-dry.

Tips to Keep in Mind

  • Always test the cleaning solution on a small, hidden area of the swimsuit before using it.
  • Never mix different cleaning solutions together.
  • Use cold water to rinse swimsuit after treating with a cleaning solution.
  • Avoid leaving the swimsuit in direct sunlight while drying as this can cause fading.
