Step 1: Blot Up Excess Liquid

Begin by lightly blotting the affected area with a clean, absorbent cloth or paper towel. Do this until no more liquid is coming off of fabric.

Step 2: Pretreat the Stain

Once you have blotted away excess liquid, you'll need to pretreat the stain with a laundry detergent. Place a few drops directly onto the stain and gently rub it in with your fingers. Allow the detergent to sit for five minutes before moving on to the next step.

Step 3: Wash in Cold Water

Wash the joggers in cold water in your washing machine. If possible, add a scoop of oxygen-based bleach like OxiClean. This will help to boost the cleaning power of your detergent.

Step 4: Air Dry

Once the wash cycle is complete, remove the joggers immediately and air dry them. Do not put them in the dryer, as this could set the stain.
