Step One: Prepare

Before you can start cleaning, you'll need to gather a few supplies: water, laundry detergent, a clean rag, and a toothbrush.

Step Two: Blot

Once you have gathered your supplies, you can start the cleaning process. Begin by using a dry cloth to blot stain. Make sure to blot the stain, not scrub it, as this can cause the stain to spread.

Step Three: Create a Solution

Once the area is blotted, create a solution of one part laundry detergent and 10 parts water. Dip the toothbrush into solution and begin gently scrubbing the stain. Be sure to use a toothbrush with soft or medium bristles, as hard bristles can damage the fabric.

Step Four: Rinse and Dry

When you are finished scrubbing, rinse the area with cool water and allow it to air dry. If there is still a trace of stain left, repeat Steps Two and Three until it is completely gone.
