How to Easily Remove Mouthwash Stains From Hats

Accidently spilling mouthwash on a favorite hat is an awful feeling! Don't worry, though. You can easily remove mouthwash stains from hats so they look like new again.

What You Need

  • Laundry detergent
  • Laundry stain remover
  • Towel
  • Soft brush
  • Warm water

Instructions:

  1. Gently dab the stained area with a towel to remove as much of the wet mouthwash as possible.
  2. Apply some laundry detergent directly onto the stain and gently rub it in with a soft brush.
  3. Rinse the affected area with a small amount of warm water.
  4. If the stain persists, liberally spray a laundry stain remover on the area and allow it to sit for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Using a clean cloth dampened with warm water, dab at the stain while gently rubbing it in circles.
  6. Rinse the hat once more to remove any remaining detergent or stain remover.
  7. Air dry the hat or use a towel to pat it dry.
