Before you start cleaning the stain, take a damp cloth and dab it on the stained portion of the fabric. This will help to soften the stain and make it easier to remove.
Mix a few drops of mild detergent with warm water and use a cotton ball or soft cloth to apply the mixture directly onto the affected area. Be sure to gently rub the fabric in circular motions to remove the stain.
Once the stain has been removed, rinse the area with cold water and then pat it dry with a clean cloth. If necessary, repeat this process until the stain is gone.
Let the purse air dry before inspecting the area for any remaining mouthwash stains. If any are still visible, repeat the pre-treatment, cleaning, and drying steps until they are gone.
