Step 1: Rinse Immediately

The first step to removing a mouthwash stain from gazar is to rinse the fabric in cold, running water as soon as possible. This helps stop the stain from setting into the fabric. Keep rinsing until no more color is coming off the fabric.

Step 2: Soak the Fabric

Once you've stopped the stain from setting in, you'll need to soak the fabric in a bowl of cool water mixed with a dab of gentle detergent. Let fabric soak for 15-20 minutes, then rinse the fabric again.

Step 3: Pretreat the Stain

If the stain is still visible, you can pretreat it by dabbing a small amount of liquid laundry detergent onto stain, then rub it gently with a soft brush or cloth. Let this mixture sit on fabric for a few minutes before washing the fabric.

Step 4: Wash the Fabric

Once stain has been pretreated, you can wash the fabric as usual. Be sure to read the care instructions on the fabric's label first, as some fabrics may need to be hand washed or dry cleaned. If you're washing the fabric in a washing machine, use a mild laundry detergent and the coldest water setting possible.

Step 5: Dry the Fabric

Once fabric has been washed, hang it up to dry. Avoid putting the fabric in the dryer, as this could cause the stain to set in.
