  • DI Water
  • Baking Soda
  • White Vinegar
  • Soft sponge
  • Detergent
  • Toothbrush (optional)

Steps to Clean Mouthwash Stains from Cotton Oxford

  1. Mix water and baking soda in a bowl to form a paste.
  2. Soak a soft sponge in the solution and gently rub it onto the stained area.
  3. Rinse area with DI water to remove the paste. Repeat Steps 1-2 for stubborn stains.
  4. Mix white vinegar and detergent in a bowl and soak the stained area with solution.
  5. Scrub the area with a soft sponge or toothbrush until the stain is gone. Rinse the area with clean water.
  6. Let the area dry completely before wearing the cotton Oxford again.

Tips

  • Test the detergent on a small, inconspicuous area before applying it to the stained area.
  • Do not rub the stained area aggressively as this might damage fabric.
  • It is best to act quickly to prevent the stains from setting in.
