What You'll Need:
- White vinegar
- Distilled water
- Small brush (such as a toothbrush)
- Towel
- Soft cloth
Instructions:
- Mix 1 part white vinegar and 4 parts distilled water in a small bowl or container.
- Using a soft, clean cloth, dab the mixture directly onto the stain.
- Once the stain is dampened, gently use the small brush to start scrubbing the stain in circular motions.
- Repeat this step, changing the liquid and re-dabbing the stain as necessary, until there is no more evidence of the stain.
- Once all traces of the stain are gone, use a clean towel to soak up any remaining liquid and then allow the garment to air dry completely.
Tips for Maintaining Cashmere:
- Always read and follow care instructions provided on label of each item.
- Avoid overloading the washing machine and hand wash whenever possible.
- Use a gentle detergent, such as Woolite or one specifically designed for cashmere.
- Hand wash in lukewarm water and ensure that the liquid doesn’t get too hot.
- Dry garments flat and away from direct sunlight.
- Store clothing in an airtight container, preferably made from breathable materials.
